These terms cover your use of Ludo & Snakes Premium, the 3D Ludo and Snakes & Ladders game published by Comp-sci-tech, including its online play. By installing or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
Ludo & Snakes Premium is free. It has no advertising, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, and there is no real money, betting or prizes of any kind. You may install it and play it for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment on any device you own or control.
Online play matches you with other people, so it only works if everyone plays fairly. The dice are rolled by our server, not by your device, so nobody can choose their roll. When playing online, you agree not to:
We may end games, ignore results, or block a device from online play if we believe these rules have been broken. Because there are no accounts, any such block would apply to the anonymous player code and connection, not to your identity.
Each turn online has a time limit of 30 seconds; if you do not roll or move in time, the game plays that turn for you so others are not kept waiting. If your connection drops, the computer plays your turns until you come back, and you can return to the same game for as long as it lasts. Leaving an online game from the menu hands your seat to the computer for the rest of that game.
Online play is provided free of charge and on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable at times — for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control — and a game in progress may end if the server restarts. We may change, limit or stop online play at any time. Playing against the computer and with others on one device always works offline.
The game, its software, design, board artwork and the Ludo & Snakes Premium name, and the Comp-sci-tech name and CST logo, belong to Comp-sci-tech. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent or redistribute the game, or create derivative versions of it, except as the law allows.
The game includes textures, sounds, music and a font by other creators, used under their own licences (CC0, public domain, and the SIL Open Font License), and is built with the Godot Engine (MIT licence). Their names, sources and licence texts are listed in the game under Credits. Nothing in these terms limits the rights those licences give you.
Ludo and Snakes & Ladders themselves are traditional games that belong to everyone.
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that online play will always be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comp-sci-tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the game, including lost games or interrupted online play. This does not limit any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
If you downloaded the game from an app store such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, that store's own terms also apply to the download. The store is not responsible for the game itself; Comp-sci-tech is.
We may update these terms, for example when the game gains new features. The current version always lives on this page, with the date shown below. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
